Roosevelt County Fair is coming up the end of this month and we are responsible for serving the meals for the Pioneers’ Luncheon. (We don’t prepare the food – we simply serve it.) Our Civic Chair, Cindy Miller, has made arrangements for us helping again this year, and she needs some VOLUNTEERS! The Luncheon is on Thursday, August 19th at 11:30 am in the Jake Lopez Building at the Fair Grounds. (Note the earlier time!) If you can help (and we need 6-8 volunteers), please plan to arrive at 11:00 am and if possible, we need to stay til 1:00 pm. If you have to leave early, just let Cindy know.
This is one of our longest on-going projects and it’s a fun time for fellowship – especially with some of the wonderful people who have made Roosevelt County such a great place to live and raise our children.
