The Feed the Hounds-SASH Community Garden urgently needs your help tomorrow, Saturday, June 27, 2026. If you have a few hours to spare, we would greatly appreciate your help pulling the weeds. It is an organic garden that serves our community, hence synthetic chemicals can't be used.
Time: 6:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m.
Location: 520 N Avenue O, Portales, NM
To help you stay safe and comfortable, please:
- Wear comfortable sneakers or work boots.
- Apply or bring bug spray, if needed.
- Bring a hoe if you have one available.
- Dress appropriately for working outdoors and consider bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated.
