Volunteer! Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. - Arthur Ashe

I came across this quote today and thought it was appropriate. Every one of us have the ability to step up and volunteer our time and talents to make our communities a better place to live. Volunteering doesn't have to be on a grand scale, it can be done quietly and, in the background, from the smallest of things to the largest of projects. Sometimes just taking a minute to write a note of thanks to the local organizations for all that they do, dropping off a snack, honking and giving a thumbs up when you see them out working on a project to organizing a fundraiser, giving of your time to answer phones and help in the office, building a home and so much more. We all have what it takes to get the jobs done, no matter how small or large the task may be. If we start small, we can build to bigger and better things! Reach out today to a local organization and see what they need help with. You might just have the talent, tools and ideas that they need to continue serving those in our local communities. One small task can lead to remarkable things and make an even larger impact!
