Who We Are

We are a coalition of community members, educators (Portales school district & ENMU), law enforcement, United Way, non-profit organizations and churches, small business and agriculture/farming, behavioral health providers, and city, state and county employees.

What We Do

The Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (OSAP) is working to promote positive thinking and actions of individuals, families and community members to support healthy lifestyles in Roosevelt County. We are committed to the implementation of prevention programs and development of activities. Our target and major goals are to reduce underage drinking and prescription painkiller misuse in Roosevelt County.
