Who We Are
We are a 501c3 Rescue Organization that focuses on Roosevelt County shelter dogs and cats. Our priority is the Portales shelter, currently run by the Portales Police Department. We are seeking to privatize our currently city-operated shelter.
What We Do
Labor of Love Project strives to be the bridge to life for the abandoned, neglected, and abused animals of our area. We give a voice to the voiceless, show love to the unloved, and pave the way for these animals to find their forever homes. We partner with rescues around the country to ensure the best options possible. We have a dedicated team of fosters and volunteers who work around the clock to give these animals the best chance possible!!
