Thank you for volunteering for Boo in the Zoo on Sunday, October 29.
The event runs from 1:00-4:00 PM. We would like to have volunteers from 11:15-4:30.
The south gate will open at 11:30 AM for vendor set-up. We will have volunteers directing traffic and guiding them to their assigned spot. Maps will be provided to volunteers (not sure if we will print or just make them available electronically). Vendors will know their spot, but a little guidance will make things easier for them.
Advance tickets cost $1 and are now available at Taco Box, the Eastern New Mexico News and the zoo office. We want to try to minimize the lines to get into the event, so volunteers will be needed to assist at the gate. Early ticket holders will be able to enter through the west gate facing Sycamore Street.
We will also need volunteers to hand out candy and take candy to vendors who are running low.
