Food Distribution will occur at Central Christian Church, 1528 S. Main. Volunteers are needed to help sort food, bag items and carry it out to cars for the TEFAP clients.
This monthly food distribution is a federal program of the USDA dept., and provided and delivered by the Food Bank of ENM. United Way of Eastern New Mexico coordinates these distributions, managing to assist in getting food into the hands of on average 300 Portales families every month.
