Volunteer: Be A Grant Maker for De Baca County! 2026 via ZOOM
Now is the time when our community invests UW funds into the vital programs that serve families in Curry, Roosevelt, Quay, and De Baca Counties in our Grant Review Process for 2026. To avoid COVID challenges we'll hold ALL training and the review nights will be held via ZOOM.
If you are a United Way supporter, we'd love to have your help! If you are not available, please share this opportunity with someone you know. Invite them to get involved. The Grant Review process is when United Way volunteers (just like YOU!) become a Panel of decision makers to go over the local agencies' requests for funds, ask questions, rate, and recommend funding for those grant requests. You and your Panel will hear presentations from 3 or 4 organizations. We'd love to have YOU participate in this process! This is a great way for UWENM donors and supporters to deepen their understanding of United Way and direct the community investment of donated funds. Trainings begin soon and be on ZOOM These training times are available before the De Baca county review night: Wed. Feb 25th at 5p-6pm on zoom Thurs. Feb 26th at 12p-1p on zoom After you Click RESPOND to this need, we will email you a link to a form please FILL IT OUT. The form tells us the training time that works for you and it asks you to declare your experience with local non-profits (as donors or staff members, or volunteers) so we can be aware of any conflict of interest. If you can't attend a training, we are happy send a recorded session. Just let us know. Agency: United Way of Eastern New Mexico
