Volunteer: Client Intake Volunteer (Semi-Permanent Volunteer Position) 2026

The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is currently seeking a semi-permanent volunteer to assist with Food Distribution Client Intake. Volunteer Hours Needed: Wednesday OR Thursday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.  This volunteer will help sign clients up to receive food boxes during our weekly distributions. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to commit to regular volunteer hours and make a lasting impact in our community. Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required. Interpreter and translation services are available. If you have a heart for helping others and can commit to a regular schedule, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for volunteers who can help distribute food boxes in the morning. Volunteers should be able to lift about 20 pounds and be on their feet in excess of 2+ hours. Please wear close-toed shoes.

Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (or until supply runs out) on Wednesday and Thursdays.
