We are dreaming up a new community initiative called Neighbor Helping Neighbor, a monthly community meal right here in Portales, where anyone can walk through the door to receive a hot meal, connect with local services, and simply belong. No hoops to jump through. No applications to fill out. Just love, freely given.
The vision is simple: ENMU Culinary Arts students plan and cook the meal, and we show up to serve and love on our neighbors. Together, we fill people's minds, bodies, and souls. And one day, we dream of this growing into a weekly soup kitchen.
