Who We Are
The Feed the Hounds is a project pioneered by Dr. Anu Ogunleye in 2025. The project supports ENMU and surrounding communities by integrating community-centered food production, participatory research, and education to address food insecurity and malnutrition in rural Eastern New Mexico. In its first year, the project produced approximately 20,000 pounds of organically grown fruits and vegetables, which were distributed free to ENMU students, faculty, and staff, as well as community members including the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico, La Casa Senior Center, and local elementary schools in Clovis and Elida, NM.
